On November 9th, the publicity activity of "carrying forward the spirit of scientists and tying the 'first button' of academic career" was held in Chongqing Medical University.

At the event, Professor Zhijian Yi, vice president of Chongqing Jiaotong University, told a vivid story of his "promise" with the desolate and barren desert. He has become the discovery and inventor of the original theory and technology of "desert sodification", which has provided strategic technical support for China's major development needs such as promoting desertification prevention and control and ecological restoration, building a new pattern of territorial space development and protection, and promoting the green development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
