In order to publicize the achievements of ecological civilization construction and focus on the scientific research workers in Chongqing in the new era, Chongqing Photojournalism Society organized some responsible persons and journalists of the member units of Chongqing Jiaotong University to carry out interview activities at the Ulan Bu and Kubuqi Desert Soil Transformation Test and demonstration base in Inner Mongolia from September 8 to 11, 2023.

  In recent years, the mechanical sand control team of Chongqing Jiaotong University took root in Inner Mongolia and went deep into the desert, which lasted for 7 years and made remarkable achievements. Through scientific and technological empowerment, the use of "desert soil" technology to make the desert farmland, to achieve ecological restoration.

   In order to enable members of the society to continuously record the process of desertification control of researchers in Chongqing, Chongqing Photojournalism Society identified the Ulan Buhe Desert soilization Experimental demonstration base and Kubuqi Desert soilization experimental project as the photographic creation base of the society, and organized a news image seminar in the local area during the activity. Chongqing Daily photographer Wan Nan shared the video story recorded by the mechanical sand control team of Chongqing Jiaotong University for six years. Subsequently, the news photographers carried out creative interviews at the base, recorded the new methods, new experiences and new achievements of Chongqing researchers, captured vivid pictures with the equipment in hand, and presented the beautiful picture of flowers on the desert of the sand sea with images.
