Chongqing Daily: Seven practical teaching bases of "Great Ideological and Political Course" in colleges and universities have settled in Wulanbuhe Desert Soil Experiment Demonstration Base.

    Wuhai Electric Power (Reporter Li Zhifeng) On August 21st, seven practical teaching bases of "Great Ideological and Political Course" in colleges and universities, including Chongqing Jiaotong University, Huazhong Normal University, Huazhong Agricultural University, Hebei University, Chongqing Normal University, Nanning Normal University and baotou teachers college, were established in Wulanbu Desert Soil-ization Experimental Demonstration Base in Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In the future, seven colleges and universities will rely on this practical teaching base to carry out "walking ideological and political classes" and create social practice teaching of ideological and political courses.

  Wulanbuhe Desert Soil Chemical Experiment Demonstration Base is a 10,000-mu experimental base established by the technical team of desert soil chemical ecological restoration of Chongqing Jiaotong University in 2017 by adopting the mode of "technology+industry". The ecological restoration technology of desert soil is the research result of many years led by Yi Zhijian, a professor at Chongqing Jiaotong University. Since the establishment of the demonstration base, nearly 500 teachers and students from Chongqing Jiaotong University have come to carry out practice, teaching and scientific research.

  Gong Hui, secretary of the Party Committee of Chongqing Jiaotong University, said that the construction of the practical teaching base of "Great Ideological and Political Course" in the desert soil experiment demonstration base will help promote the spirit of scientists into the campus and provide rich spiritual and practical resources for the practical education and teaching of "Great Ideological and Political Course". 

  According to reports, seven colleges and universities will rely on the practice base to carry out "walking ideological and political classes" and expand the practice teaching space by means of research between teachers and students. At the same time, the integration of physical resources and virtual resources, online and offline to create a national "big ideological and political course" practice teaching community, and promote the reform and innovation of ideological and political courses.
